I downloaded the app two weeks ago and have been enjoying it so far. I updated to version 3.0 today and the application longer run on my iPhone 5. Please help. Thank you and God bless you.

Unfortunately, the update made the bible even more difficult to navigate than before. The buttons are smaller and closer together and the shopping cart is right between them, all of which makes accidental clicking more likely. Worse, the red "buy me" badge on the logo intrudes into the reading area. I guess its better to cover up the word of God than the company logo. Overall, this is a step backward in usability.

The new version crashes as soon as it is loaded!

I cannot log into my account from the app. It says that a verification email has been sent, but I have yet to receive one after several tries.

Thank you for your guys efforts and devotion. This is really going to come in handy for me. Now I will always have a bible in my pocket.

This bible looks great and the most important thing is that it has a table of contents, but unfortunately there is no audio although they mentioned that there should be audio. Please add it and Ill give it 5 stars.

This is a well-designed app, but its pretty much a pig in a poke. The content is not complete, and the app is almost entirely a vehicle for selling recordings from Lighthouse Catholic Media. Good stuff, but what kind of Bible app is it if it doesnt have a complete Bible in it? (You have to buy it.) So five stars for app development, one star for lack of content and misleading name.

This Catholic bible is truly amazing. I am sure I will use it daily. I may take it to Bible study. Thanks so much, Rosalie

RSV translation, approved by US bishops. No problem There. However, in the text view theres still an ugly toolbar visible at the top and bottom that dont get out of the way.

This Bible has made reading daily scriptures really easy .The layout and search features have really enhanced my Bible study and encouraged me to read more deeply than I ever would have with my paper back.

This is a really awesome app and it has really helped me grow in my love for scripture. The audio is great and is nice to listen to. It helps you put yourself in the story. Would love to buy the Old Testament in the future!

Ive downloaded a few Bible apps, and this is the best one Ive found. I love how you can search key words, and I just love having the Bible with me all the time!

Love both the translation and the interface. Great to be able to save your place in the reading. RSV-2CE is the best modern English Catholic Bible on the market. Only suggestion I would have is allow color change on the footnote/Study Bible linked text - it disappears when I switch to black screen/white text (it remains black).

I use this app everyday! Really easy to search for verses in the bible. Audio bible follows along the verses so you can read along is the audio is played. Paid for both the full New Testament audio and the related Ignatius Catholic study commentary. Worth every penny for those who want to learn the bible. Really love the audio, listen to it on the way to work. Best Bible app in the App Store!

I am already a Catholic Lighthouse Media subscriber, so I was very excited to see that they had an app that included Scott Hahns excellent study bible published by Ignatius press! Finally, I can take this work with me on my iPad. Also, the dramatized audio bible is remarkable! I am really disappointed, though, by several features and serious problems within the app. First, I cannot link the app with my Lighthouse Catholic media account and listen to the talks that I have already purchased! Since I get a new MP3 delivered to my email each month, wouldnt it make sense to offer this in this app with streaming? It would greatly improve both the app and increase purchases from LCM! There needs to be integration with LCM and a nice "storefront" in the app that is updated with newer content. Second, I cant stand the little red number at the lower left when Im reading the Bible... It seems that I have to buy every single product offered in order to get that number to go away. Thats a terrible design flaw that has already been complained about in previous reviews of this app. Why have the designers not removed it? Lastly, there is a bug in the iPhone version of this app. In the LCM storefront, if I try to play any previews, the banner showing the picture of the CD and the controls disappears above the screen. I cannot pause the audio without closing the app. It is disappointing to see these problems in what could be a great app! But, since these things havent been addressed in over a year since the apps release, I dont think they will be fixed in the near future. :( Why start something great and then only finish it halfway?

I do no recommend the truth and life dramatized audio Bible portion. It kind of makes Jesus sound angry and impatient all the time. I know he was human, but I dont think he would have sounded so whinny. After using this app for a while now, i have a few comments: 1. Simplify icon. Theres just too much detail to make it that small. 2. Simplify font/color menus. Too complicated 3. Allow full screen mode / allow people to hide the audio portion. I dont care for the audio version you have chosen, and dont want to see this section. 4. Eliminate red number thing (next to icon) while reading. Its distracting.

Incredibly easy to use. Packed with information. The audio is amazing! The children and I listened, spellbound, to the Gospel. And the read along as the highlighting moves with the voices. Worth every penny!

Great app. Really useful. I would have had a lower star rating recently, but the last round of bug fixes has solved every issue that bothered me. The one-touch daily Mass readings are really great to have. Its a simple enough thing, but this is just so uncompromisingly convenient that it makes the difference between following the readings every day, or not. At least for me. Worth downloading the app for that feature alone. My one request- there seem to be new Lighthouse talks out there that are not available in-app yet. I spend a long time in the car, and I have spent an embarrassing amount on these downloads, and Im just saying... if the new ones were made available, I would end up dropping more money here. I know I can order CDs and podcasts and such, but the app is the most convenient medium for me to listen to them. Anyway, great job with this, everyone involved. Highly recommended.
